Bespoke websites for artists
Artist websites tend to larger than average as they usually contain galleries of images and the option to click on an image to enlarge it. For this reason, bespoke websites for artists can be very expensive - sometimes over £600. Because of the way we work, artist sites designed by The Website Design Studio are more affordable than most - an average invoice for a bespoke, 30 page site is between £300 and £500 pages depending on the number of galleries needed and the optional extras required.
Budget website for artists
We understand that not all artists need a large, bespoke website; all that is required is a simple showcase. Therefore we offer a budget website package consisting of a biography page, a contact page and a gallery consisting of up to 8 examples of work. The cost of this service is £99 (including a domain name and hosting for one year). Sell your work via our online art gallery
Soon, we will opening an online art gallery. The aim is to provide an online showcase where artists can sell their art. Displaying artworks will be free, but we will charge a small commission on any sales. You will be responsible for posting and packaging costs and dispatching the item promptly to your buyer. Editing web pages
Artists sometimes need to update images. We can do that for you or if you prefer, we can set up the site so that you can update it yourself. However, there is an extra charge for this and it can be a time consuming and frustrating exercise requiring some level of computer expertise. We manage the changes for most of our artist websites - our clients prefer it that way as it is more cost effective and saves a lot .
