How we work - the website design process

We usually communicate with our clients by telephone and email. Occasionally, we may need to visit you to discuss your needs or gather content, photographs etc. Here is an outline of our approach.

1. Establish content
The first step is to work closely with you to establish your needs and agree the content for your website. Some clients will have already written their text and identified photographs and graphics for inclusion. Others may need help in this area.

2. Agree a design
We propose a suitable design based on your needs and content. For more complex sites, we will produce 3 possible page designs. You be able to review these mock ups online and choose your preferred design.

3. Build the site
Once the look and feel has been agreed, we will build the site including all your photographs, text and graphics.

4. Register a domain name
We will help you select a domain name if you do not already have one.

5. Arrange hosting
We arrange hosting for your website and email addresses if required.

6. Arrange search engine registration
If required, we register the website with the major search engines.
