It's important to remember that that there are websites and there are websites! At the bottom end of the range are simple 'static' websites which are perfect if all you need is an online brochure. At the top end of the range there are database driven websites with complex features such as online selling facilities with stock control, blogs, or Flash animations.

Every website project is different which is why we give a full written estimate before starting work. But to give you some idea of our costs, here are some sample prices:

►One-page website from £99

►Five-page website including domain name, email address and hosting from £150-£250

►Bespoke websites (designed to your specifications) from £300

►Small PayPal shops from £280

Ongoing website costs

Hosting - currently £39.99 per year.

Domain name renewal - .com names £15 per year, .co.uk names £10 per year.

Maintenance - £35 per hour (usually sufficient to update a five-page website).
